We provide the campus with access to the normal Internet as well as several national backbones, including Internet, Internet2 and ESNet. Administrative Network Connection (a.k.a. 网络连接)

This Admin Network connection provides all the features of the Standard Network Connection as well as access to specific Admin Network services. These services include firewall protection, MS Office, Anti-Virus Software, E-Mail with SPAM protection, and other access to restricted administrative services.

Not every client has access to this service. Only clients with an approved, demonstrable need who are in a location where the Admin Network can reasonably deployed will be 提供了一个管理网口.

End-User Equipment Connection (a.k.a. NETEU)

Some organizations that occupy single tenant buildings have opted to install networking and provide ongoing infrastructure support on their own. 这让他们能够支付 a lower ongoing per machine rate while maintaining their portion of the Internet fair share bandwidth for the machine. All infrastructure support is provided by ITC as a time and materials basis, but no infrastructure upgrades are provided by ITC.

Some organizations that occupy single-tenant buildings have opted-out of fair-share Internet delivery and purchase a set amount of Internet bandwidth instead. 带宽 is purchased in 1 Mbit, 5 Mbit, and 10 Mbit blocks (1Mbit minimum) and priced at the opportunity cost (not based on usage). If the issue is with your wired internet (Ethernet), please include the IPv4 Address from the section labeled Ethernet adapter. If the issue is with your wireless internet (Wi-Fi), please include the IPv4 Address from the section labeled Wireless adapter.

Mac

Open up a terminal (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal).

Then type ifconfig and hit enter. Your IPv4 (inet) and IPv6 (inet6) IP addresses will display--a series of numbers or letters with dots between them--as well as some other information 关于你的网络连接.
